There's a lot to complain about in this world—if you go looking for it… but who wants to live their life like that anyway? You're far better off putting that time and energy towards something productive and just getting on with it rather than falling into that line of thinking. Regardless, you're determined to find something to take issue with… the size of your toast probably isn't one of them worth worrying about—there are plenty of other things that should take priority on the list
Who knows. Maybe this customer has just been having a bad time, and this is the thing that sent her over the edge, the proverbial straw that broke the back of the camel. Yet, it stands to reason that it's never ok to go around spouting wildly entitled behavior and treating waitstaff poorly. Still, this customer demanded that her two pieces of toast be the same size, the café staff maliciously complied with her request, resulting in two pieces that were exactly the same size but smaller than she had started with.
